Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.
Matthew 7:13-14
In the first 20 days of our journey, we’ve prayed our way through seeking God with passion, allowing Him to restore and heal us, deepening our prayer life, drawing near to Him consistently, praying for pastors, marriages, the porn industry, and more.
Moving forward we’re going to take it up another level. We’ve built a solid foundation and now it’s time to push the prayer-charged way of the Rogue Christian further away from the constraints of status-quo Christianity. I hope you’ve discovered by now that Rogues have an uncommon prayer life. Giving God touch-and-go prayers with little more than our list of wants and needs isn’t our norm; we go hard after God every day so we can have more of Him. We are prayer warriors who believe in the power of prayer to break strongholds and set captives free.
As we move forward in our journey, the road narrows. We can’t carry the sin, hurts, prejudices, or distorted perceptions we used to.
Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
Hebrews 12:1-2
Today is about inviting God to show us the sin and weights He wants us to face and drop. The lighter our load, the freer we are to live with impact for eternity.
