First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.
1 Timothy 2:1-2
Our governments are in desperate need of extended intercession; you need only to look at the laws they’ve passed and the direction they’re heading to know why. The Bible will eventually be outlawed as hate speech in multiple countries unless God intervenes… we dare not ease up with interceding for our leaders until God moves in powerful ways and rocks their world.
